Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device, in the app's private storage. Glovebox has no account, no server, and makes no network requests.
How is fuel economy calculated?
From the distance between two consecutive fill-ups divided by the fuel added at the second one. Your first fill-up is the baseline, so an MPG (or L/100 km) figure appears once you log a second fill-up.
Is my data backed up?
Glovebox keeps a single backup file in its private on-device storage. If you use iCloud device backup, iOS includes that file automatically — but Glovebox itself never contacts iCloud or syncs anything.
Can I export my records?
Yes — export any vehicle's history as a PDF or CSV and share it via the iOS share sheet.
